For my last post for 2019, I wanted to take a look back and share the Top 10 episodes from my leadership podcast, “Leadership Biz Cafe”. Without question, this year has been a big year for my podcast, in large part because one of my goals for this year was to put a greater focus on growing my podcast’s base and influence.
Two of my more ambitious goals that I’m happy to share I achieved this year with my podcast were getting my show added on iHeartRadio and Spotify, as well as landing a sponsor to support the continued growth and development of my podcast.
Another goal I made for my podcast was to double the number of episodes I release each month, which was the key driving force behind the creation of the “Leadership Espresso Shot” feature, episodes that are designed to be short, quick listens that provide a concentrated dose of insights and actionable advice inspired by some of the ideas and lessons I share with leaders who attend my keynotes or corporate training sessions.
And I can tell you it’s been gratifying to see this new feature being well received by the show’s listeners. In fact, five of the most listened episodes of my podcast for 2019 were editions of “Leadership Espresso Shot”.
What’s more, my podcast “Leadership Biz Cafe” has made several lists of the top leadership podcasts for 2019, including be listed as one of “23 of the Best Leadership Podcasts You’ll Love”, “Podcasts To Check Out If You Want To Be A Better Leader”, “5 Podcast That Will Help You Learn to Lead” and “10 Great Leadership Podcasts For Managers”.
So it seems only appropriate that after having such a successful year building up and taking my podcast to the next level that I share with you which episodes from this year were the most popular with my audience.
