Last week marked the end of another edition of the Montreal Jazz Festival – the largest of its kind in the world, and an event I haven’t missed since I was in high school. And this year, I found myself reflecting on some interesting parallels between jazz and what leaders should be doing to help their team and organization navigate the uncertain waters we face today.
So for this edition of my Leadership Espresso Shot series, I share three powerful insights around listening and change that will help better connect your employees with your shared purpose, and empower them to contribute their unique talents and skills towards making it a reality.
To be sure, you don’t need to be a fan of jazz to enjoy this episode. But I can tell say you will get a lot of inspiration and insight on how to lead better going forward.
